Hibiscus Lemonade

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cups hibiscus flowers
  • 3 lemons
  • 1/4 cups raw honey
  • 1/4 cups Cane Sugar
  • 8 cups Water
    **For an Adult Upgrade**you can substitute with 5 cups of club soda, 2 cups of water, 1/2 cup of your favorite White Rum, or Vodka, and 1/2 cup of cranberry juice.

  1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil and remove from heat.

  2. Add the hibiscus flowers, cover, and steep for 10-15 minutes.

  3. Strain flowers and add the honey and sugar

  4. Stir until the honey and sugar is dissolved.

  5. Juice the lemons

  6. Pour into a large jar or pitcher and add the lemon juice and the rest of the water.
    **Adult Version**
    If you are making the adult version remember to chili your club soda, cranberry juice, and selected liqueur. All those ingredients would be added now.

  7. Serve cold with ice

  8. For style add lemon slices and sprigs of mint
